For $3.9m, a Sudbury Residence for Remote Work and Homework

April 28, 2022 - By Megan O'Brien, Boston.com Contributor

Over the last few years, many people have adapted their spaces to remote working and learning. But at this upcoming address, it’s home design that that has been adapted to the work-from-home lifestyle.

Listed for $3,898,000, 5 Nolan Circle in Sudbury is one of three properties that will make up Landon Estates, a collection of residences with spaces curated to “active family life and working efficiently and comfortably from home,” according to a press release. The property — currently under construction — is being developed by David Howe of Howe Development and listed by Diana Lannon of Advisors Living Sudbury. Set for completion this summer, it will offer five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one half bathroom in 8,900 square feet of space.

“The two pandemic years saw an increasing shift in home buyers wanting amenities that reflect families’ evolving living and working needs, especially with the rise of at-home working and learning,” Lannon said in the release.

The home’s live-work spaces will include two home offices designed for adults, a “Family Education Center” off of the kitchen ideal for younger children who require more supervision, and an upstairs study.

The main level will feature an open floor plan with attractive details such as a coffered ceiling and wainscoting, as well as a four-season veranda with a built-in grill and wet bar.

The second level will include the owner’s suite, complete with a walk-in closet and dressing room, along with three additional en-suite bedrooms. A study on this level will offer access to a roof deck, while a media room, fitness center, and three-car garage will be located on the lower level.

The Landon Estates will be located on a private street in Northern Sudbury overlooking 8 acres of privately-owned conservation land.
