Advisors Living Joins Luxury Portfolio International Network

April 19, 2022 - By Tom Palmer

BOSTON – Advisors Living, the expanding residential home sales platform of Boston Realty Advisors, is now a part of Luxury Portfolio International, pairing its successful local brokerage services with a powerful network of listings and marketing tools aimed at high-net-worth individuals worldwide.

The Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, parent of the Luxury Portfolio International network, has joined Advisors Living with its portfolio, along with 38 other companies from 18 countries.

“Luxury Portfolio International enhances our marketing capabilities to global exposure with materials and substance beyond just a label,” said Merit McIntyre, President and Chief Executive Officer of Advisors Living.

“LeadingRE members benefit from many business enhancing services perks,” LeadingRE said in a media release. Those include “world class conferences and networking events, web-based learning resources, global brand and marketing support, real estate industry advocacy, innovative technology solutions, an affiliate to affiliate referral network and a marketing program, Luxury Portfolio International.”

Other companies that are part of LeadingRE for commercial or residential operations are located the United States, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and the Asian Pacific. The criteria for gaining admittance to LeadingRE are highly competitive, said LeadingRE President and Chief Executive Officer CEO Pam O’Connor.

“We continue to grow extensively but selectively,” including only about 20 percent of companies that inquire about affiliation, she said, “because they do not meet our requirements for market position, brand reputation, service excellence and more.

“By offering a truly compelling business model, we attract top companies that want to combine their local success with a global reach,” O’Connor said,

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World is a global real estate community comprised of 550 real estate companies awarded membership based on rigorous standards for service and performance. With 4,600 offices and 150,000 sales associates in 70 countries, these firms represent 1.3 million global transactions annually.

Luxury Portfolio International attracts a global audience of affluent consumers, and  LPI markets approximately 50,000 of the world's most remarkable homes annually on

“We are delighted to have Advisors Living as part of our distinguished network of premier brokerages,” said Paul Boomsma, President and CEO of LeadingRE. “The company has an impeccable reputation in the Boston area, and we are committed to helping the firm achieve even greater success.”

“As a member of LeadingRE and LPI, Advisors Living combines authentic, local expertise with unparalleled resources and connections to the highest quality real estate firms and luxury specialists worldwide,” Boomsma said.

Boston Realty Advisors and its associated companies including Advisors Living finished the year 2021, the firm’s 20th anniversary, with a record number of completed transactions, more than 750 sales and leases of commercial and residential properties in the Greater Boston area -- and more than $1 billion in total volume.

Transactions included the final sales of the luxury condominiums at record per-square-foot prices at Pier 4 in the Seaport, developed by Tishman Speyer, all 106 units selling at an average price of $3.5 million. The high-end sales of Pier 4 residences, on the historic site of Anthony’s Pier 4 restaurant on Boston Harbor, for the first time pushed 2021 per-square-foot prices substantially past those of Boston’s Back Bay and Beacon Hill, historical leaders in Boston neighborhoods’ residential sales.

Boston Realty Advisors’ and Advisors Living’s total 2021 sales volume, not including fees for leasing and consulting, exceeded $1 billion for the first time.

That included more than $612 million in residential resales for Advisors Living, about $270 million for Advisors Living’s sales of new development units, including Pier 4, and more than $400 million in Boston Realty Advisors’ closed or pending sales of commercial properties.

Resales of homes by Advisors Living exceeded 202 in 2021, pushed higher by more than 30 new agents added to the Advisors Living team, new offices being opened in Boston’s suburbs, and some highly experienced leadership joining the seasoned Advisors Living team. Those factors led total resales of homes to exceed $600 million during the year.
